Dear Brethren,
I greet you all and hope everyone is keeping safe and well in the mighty name of Jesus. It is rather unfortunate that our current situation remains unchanged following the arrival of this deadly COVID19 at this time in our history. Many are still dying and social isolation and distancing are the norms of the day; all important events and schedules are on lock down and the world remains confused and confounded in their quest to find an antidote for this virus.
Fear and anxiety may be on display eroding our faith and beliefs. Presently some of you may be thinking about your own personal sickness and COVID-19, the family, the economy, jobs and schools and suddenly everything seems overwhelming but the God we serve is always on our side.
Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, “Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
What is sweeter than this Brethren! Our hope is in the Lord and I believe our prayers and faith in Him will see us through this crisis and we will come out unscathed physically and mentally. He has carried us thus far and He is not going to abandon us now so let us not fret for anything.
It is going to end well and I believe God is going to use this crisis to show His glory by buttressing our faith in Him and for the
unbelievers to recognise their human frailty and mortality and turn from their sin to worship Him.
We will come back after this crisis much stronger than ever before so let us continue to pray, praise and give thanks to God and continue to care for each other and at the same time continue to follow the outlined government directives.
We love you and God richly bless you all.
