Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Deacon Ralston & Sis Angela Schawsmidth

I greet you all in the mighty and powerful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, our soon coming King. I hope you and your families are well and keeping yourselves safe during this very challenging period.

Just because we are not meeting in a building does not mean we are not having church. We don’t rely on a building to have church, you and I and everyone who lifts up the name of Jesus and submits to Him as Lord and Saviour are all part of the living Church, of whom Christ is the Head. (Colossians 1:18)

According to Scripture:

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,Addalittleacceptablebitofbodyto Godtext by Jesus Christ”. (1 Peter 2:5)

And again: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”. (1 Peter 2:9)

The Church has thrived for over 2000 years, throughout persecution, throughout wars and famine. The gates of hell have not prevailed against it: COVID-19 will not prevail against it. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8). This is because “The peace of God which passeth all understanding, is keeping our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 4:7)

The Church will remain and thrive until Christ returns because you brethren, as individuals in the body of Christ, remain and your faith and gifts remain. (1 Corinthians 12:27-28)

Yes, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (Romans 8:37-39) God Bless.
