My Beloved Brethren and Friends,
Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord be with you all.
In spite of this present difficult time, be encouraged that God knows what we are going through. He promises that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Be reminded ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.’ (Psalm 46 v 1)
He is faithful, therefore, ‘…Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.’ (Joshua 1 v 9)
Be encouraged by the following prayer
‘I pray that God will give us hope on a grey day, friends when we feel alone, courage to face new challenges, comfort when times are rough, strength when the path is steep and faith to trust in His love throughout the days ahead.‘(Anon)
Let us keep trusting in His promises and although we cannot see each other, let us keep praying for one another.
