Hi everyone, our prayer is that this message finds you all in a good place, mentally, physically and spiritually.
Without doubt we are experiencing testing times at the moment; the vast majority of us are in lockdown and our lives are now being lived in a way we have not known before. Children can’t go out to play as they want to and some of our elders can’t even venture outside of their houses due to the restrictions imposed on them. It’s tough at the moment, yet there is no greater opportunity than now to solidify our faith in God and to put that faith in action by the way we treat and minister to those who are around us.
We all know about the goodness of God, but what we know is far less important than what we do. I think Theodore Roosevelt, former U.S. president summed it up well, when he said “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”. Wouldn’t it be great if we could be the extended hand of God at this time and show those around us that we care about them during this critical period? We both look forward to hearing of the creative ways that you have reached out to someone in this unique season. Covid – 19 may have shut us in, but it cannot stop us from reaching out.
